Why we do what we do:
Royal Family Kids is the nation’s leading network of camps for abused, neglected and abandoned children within the foster care system. Founded in 1985, Royal Family Kids will offer over 170 camps in 37 states and 9 foreign countries this summer.
Since its founding, over 56,980 campers have attended the one-week summer camps. The need is great with annual reported cases of child abuse, neglect and abandonment at 3.6 million. More alarming is the fact that one of these victims dies every six hours due to that abuse. for those of you in and around Orange County, we could describe the Situation like this:
In Orange County the annual reported cases exceeds 40,000… which would fill every seat in Anaheim Stadium.
